Il Palagio is a wine estate located near the medieval town of Figline Valdarno that is known as the ‘Florence farm’. The owner of this beautiful wine domain is none other than Sting. The new wine from Tenuta Il Palagio is called Dieci. Only available in the Netherlands since October 2018 and only 2,000 bottles of this wine have been made that are distributed throughout the world, making it a true collector’s item. The bottles are numbered. If ordered per 3, this will be delivered in a very nice original wooden box. The vineyard is at an altitude of 350 meters and has sandy soil with a high dose of magnesium and calcium

The Dieci is a 100% Sangiovese and can be compared to an excellent top Brunello in terms of style. This wine is also certified organic. The wine has had 15 months of upbringing in wooden foudres and then has had 7 months of bottle upbringing before it has become available.

This beautiful red shows raspberries, blueberries and lemon rind. Medium body, polished and well-integrated tannins and a crispy, delicious finish. I like the texture and style. A baby Brunello. Drink or hold.
