Pairing:
It is recommended with biscuits and cream cakes. It could be also tasted with mid-seasoned cheeses served with jam or honey.
Appearance:
The Moscatello di Castiglione is an Abruzzo native variety, mostly cultivated in the sorroundings of the hamlet of Castiglione. The bunch is quite small and sparse, which is ideal both for withering in drying lofts and on the plant itself.
Rich in aromatic content, the Moscatello distinguishes for its marked freshness.
Tasting Notes:
Golden Yellow coloured, this sweet white wine is fine and intense. The native grapes of Moscatello di Castiglione have been rediscovered in the last few years.
Crystal golden yellow wine. Nuances of peach jam, dried figs and acacia honey. This is a sweet wine characterized by an evident minerality and a remarkable acidity. Its final shows an exceptional gustatory and olfactory persistence.
